Serenity (Gardening)

Gardens are where things grow.  Of course plants, vegetables, fruits, flowers, herbs, and tubers grow here, but much more than that.  Hearts, minds, souls, and bodies can rest and grow and heal in the stillness of a well-kept garden.  In the Bible God tells us to "Be still and know that I am God..." (Psalm 46:10a) and to be still, in the stillness of the garden, and observe the work of one's hands, to harvest and take joy in the creation we're blessed to partake with our Father in heaven as we tend and steward what He's given us.  That's what you'll find here.  Blog posts and pictures about raising a garden, chickens, possibly more livestock, and the thoughts that rise from these places of peace and joy.
